Brunel University uses e-Learning IT to collaborate with partners abroad - Public Technology
Students and staff from Brunel University will now be able to collaborate on classroom research assignments and analysis with partner universities in the UK, Europe and China, using newly installed e-learning software. WebCT Vista 4 aims to enable Brunel to enter into e-learning agreements with other institutions on a national and international level, setting the stage for a multi-institution network of connected teaching and learning opportunities. In-class research investigations and data gathering can now be shared immediately between Brunel students and their counterparts abroad, with analysis conducted collaboratively. Brunel is also preparing to deliver post-graduate teaching certificate programs via WebCT to academics at its partner institutions.
