UM offers minisession for displaced students - Bryan Doyle, Daily Mississippian
A fall minisession, beginning Oct. 10, is currently being offered by the university primarily for students affected by Hurricane Katrina. Changes in enrollment and in academics have also caused some school deadlines to be extended. The final withdrawal and drop date has been moved from Oct. 3 to Oct. 10. Midterm grade postings will be viewable for students beginning Oct. 11. The schedule for the fall minisession is viewable online at the Registrar’s Webpage. The university asked to participate in the Sloan semester, founded by the Sloan Foundation. http://sloansemester.org
