FUSD offers first online classes at Flagstaff High School - Sara Kincaid, Arizona Sun
The district has contracted with an outside provider to offer courses at Flagstaff High School. Mesa Distance Learning Services, offered through Mesa Public Schools, offers a K-12 on-line curriculum. FHS wants to target home school, fifth-year seniors, home-bound and chronically ill students with the distance learning option. The distance learning program offered through Mesa is aligned to state standards. Each course is designed to last 18 weeks and take an hour of the student's time each day.
