Online degrees from accredited universities gain respect - PATRICK DANNER Miami Herald
Some of South Florida's largest employers say they have no reservations about hiring job candidates who obtained college degrees by taking classes online. ''If you get an online degree and it's accredited, we recognize that degree as we do any accredited university degree,'' says Marc Cannon, spokesman for Fort Lauderdale-based car retailer AutoNation. ``We don't consider it inferior.''
