OCAC of Taiwan promotes learning of Chinese language online - Achong Tanjong, Borneo Bulletin
With the aim of encouraging overseas Chinese to learn Chinese language through its 'Global Chinese Language & Culture Centre' web site, the Overseas Chinese Affairs Commission (OCAC) of Taiwan has organised several "Global Chinese Online Learning" competitions. In a press release, the Taipei Economic & Cultural Office said the competitions included 'Global Award for the Digital Creative Method of Chinese Teaching', 'Global Award for Digital Learning Short Essay Invention', 'Award for Global Chinese Oral Reading - Participation Notes' and 'Global Award for Chinese Hero'.
