Scholarships Available for Nevada Teachers to Earn a Master's Degree Online
Western Governors University (WGU), an online university founded by governors of Western states, will award as many as 25 scholarships of up to $3,500 ($1500 for the first term; $500 per term for up to four additional terms) to Nevada teachers and prospective teachers to complete a degree online. Applications can be found online at www.wgu.edu/NVteacher. The scholarships are available for the M.A. in Learning and Technology, Master of Education (M.Ed.), M.A. in Mathematics Education, M.A. in Science Education, and the M.A. in English Language Learning. Prospective teachers interested in initial teacher certification in mathematics or science may also apply.
