Communication Dynamics in Technological Mediated Learning Environments - Federico Casalegno and Irene McAra Mc William, ITDL
In the following paper we discuss communication dynamics and those interactive media characterizing remote collaboration. We analyze results of ethnographic research carried out during a collaborative design workshop between the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, School of Architecture and Planning, and the Miyagi University, Japan. We focus on the social interaction and communication dynamics of interactive media that emerged during this workshop in order to understand and design learning environments for remote collaboration.
