Massey University teaching excellence awards announced - Massey News (New Zealand)
Four Vice-Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence in Teaching have been announced.... Dr Mary Simpson, Dr Bill Anderson and Marion Orme, of the College of Education, have led the team that developed and continues to deliver the External Delivery Option (EDO) of the Bachelor of Education (Teaching). This programme uses WebCT as the primary teaching and learning medium for the whole degree. This is the first programme at Massey that is taught principally online, and the panel was impressed with the way the teaching team has been able to transfer its principles of learning and teaching into the online environment, Professor Prebble says.
