Learning mix adds human touch to the Internet - South Africa Cape Times
Electronic learning, or e-learning is the use of computers and the internet as a learning method. Although e-learning is cheaper and faster than sending employees off for classroom-based, instructor-led training, it lacks the human interaction element, says Gary Galanti of Bridge People and Technology. He advocates a training method that combines classroom and mentoring programmes with e-learning, calling it "blended learning".
