NHS online eLearning solution praised for success - Public Technology
A scheme to train UK National Health Service (NHS) staff in IT skills has been voted Online Learning Solution of the Year for 2003 after getting 40,000 people signed up in the first seven months. The scheme was described as making a 'significant impact on users' performance' by the judges of the World of Learning Conference and Exhibition Awards. The online training scheme, launched last March, uses the European Computer Driving Licence qualification (ECDL), which is run by the BCS in the UK.
