Casino degree programs sought by USM, Alcorn - Riva Brown, Clarion Ledger
The University of Southern Mississippi and Alcorn State University are expected to ask the state College Board next month to approve new degree programs related to casino management.... Alcorn President Clinton Bristow Jr. said the university has been working with Southern Miss to offer distance learning courses with shared faculty. Said Southern Miss Provost Tim Hudson: "This is all new territory for us, and we want to meet the needs."
