Turkish Information Technology Prepares EU's e-Learning Project - Emre Demir, Zaman
Turkish information technology (IT) professionals are preparing a computer-based education project for the European Union (EU). Siemens Business Services (SBS) Turkish branch has undertaken the 'e-learning' project for EU member countries for use in pre-university education. The project, called I-Class, is the biggest project granted by the EU to a Turkish software company. Big firms like Microsoft and Intel are among the project partners. Turkish software experts are developing the skeleton system, which will be in use in EU countries beginning in 2009.
