E-TQM College targets 50,000 learners next year - Jay B. Hilotin, Dubai Gulf News
The E-TQM College, a Dubai-based virtual university, is set to admit up to 50,000 online learners next year. The announcement was made by Dr Mansoor Al Awar, the US-trained Director of the college, during the launch of the college's new publishing house. "We want to be the reservoir of knowledge in total quality management in this region. By having our own publishing house we would be able to open new aspects of e-learning for any Arabic-speaking person," he said. "There are 300 million Arabic speakers in the world who have limited access to Arabic TQM-related publications. The new unit will allow many people to enjoy the availability of specialised TQM resources in their own language," he said.
