Online students do well, Lakeland survey finds - Jennifer Gonzᬥz, Cleveland Plain Dealer
Students taking online classes at Lakeland Community College do as well academically as - or even better than - students who take courses in the classroom, according to a recent study. However, the same study shows that students taking so-called distance-learning courses, especially tel-ecourses, drop out of those classes at a higher rate than students taking classes in a traditional bricks-and-mortar building.
