Learners’ Perceptions toward the Web-based Distance Learning Activities/Assignments - Alex Koohang and Angela Durante, JITE

Executive Summary: The purpose of this study is to measure learners’ perceptions toward the Web-based distance learning activities/assignments portion of a hybrid program. These activities and assignments were designed based on a set of appropriate instructional parameters and objectives. By measuring learners’ perceptions, this study attempts to find whether these activities/assignments promote learning. This study gives attention to the variables of age, gender, and experience with the Internet to find whether these variables are significant factors in learners’ perceptions toward the Web-based distance learning activities/assignments portion of the hybrid program.
