....What's the state of distance education today? Distance ed is continuing to grow. The numbers keep going up. We now have much more of a hybrid or blended state where people do some courses face-to-face and some via distance education. We see a lot of students resident on campus who are taking one or two courses from another campus at the same time. In fact, that's one of the largest growing populations for distance education. Distance education is going to get much larger and will continue to have significant impact on and off campus -- more offerings, less something that's on the fringes, and a lot more blended learning.
