More Than 2,700 Online Students Graduate in Person in Phoenix
There will be more than 2700 graduates and 5000 family and friends in attendance- coming from as far away as Malaysia, Lebanon, Egypt and Alaska. In addition to students and their families, approximately 180 faculty members are also expected to attend. University of Phoenix Online students are different than their younger counterparts. A survey of this year's graduates indicates that 64.4% are definitely going to their graduation exercises, and 91.9% are bringing their families. Other info on the graduates: They are 35 years old on average, work at full-time jobs, and two-thirds have family responsibilities.
