Jordan launches major e-learning educational initiative - Jordan Times
Working to ensure the Kingdom's place in the global IT arena, Jordan is today launching its e-learning platform, dubbed the Education Reform for the Knowledge Economy. With a programme of changes that will cover early, basic and secondary schooling, the five-year project comprises four major reform components — both intersecting and interdependent. Based upon His Majesty King Abdullah's vision of making the Kingdom a regional IT hub, the overall aim is to provide a human resource development structure that neatly dovetails with national needs and global challenges.
