Unlocking the potential of e-learning - John Beaumont, Vnunet
Computing is right to encourage a debate on e-learning. While it is no panacea for all unsatisfied educational needs, if implemented properly, e-learning can address many of them. To date, e-learning has a poor reputation. What's really disappointing is that it deserves that reputation. Technology usually gets the blame, but the real reasons are poor instructional design and content production and/or insufficient service support.
