University of Colorado - Denver business school joins effort for online education - Lyn Berry-Helmlinger, Denver Business Journal
The business school at the University of Colorado-Denver is joining the newly formed Online University Consortium to compete for a different kind of market niche: adult learners whose education is funded by their employers. A Washington, D.C.-based university-to-business alliance that provides access to universities with reputable online degree programs, the consortium allows public universities to compete with the larger for-profit universities that offer online education, said Ken Bettenhausen, associate dean of UCD's business school.
