Teen, 15, to be Carleton's youngest transfer student - Dave Rogers, The Ottawa Citizen
Ahmed Ismail, a Merivale High School student, began taking math and physics courses online from Stanford University when he was 12. When he enrols at Carleton this fall, Ahmed says he may have to take the bus, which would be the first time he's been allowed to do so by himself. Most first-year students at Carleton University will be getting their first taste of post-secondary education this fall, but for 15-year-old Ahmed Ismail, university mathematics and physics is nothing new.
