Students Take ND Courses From Afar - Associated Press
Officials say more students are taking online and other distance education courses through North Dakota's university system. The university system had about 42-hundred students taking distance education courses in the fall of 2001. That number increased to nearly 58-hundred this past fall semester. That's about 15 percent of the university system's 39-thousand 600 students. More than half of those distance education students are taking their courses through the Internet.
