NUTN 2003 Presents Leadership Award - Distance-Educator
The National University Telecommunications Network (NUTN) honored Cynthia Elliott, Dean of the Virtual College of Fort Hays State University, with the J.O. Grantham Leadership Award in recognition of her demonstrated leadership qualities and contributions to technology enhanced education at a special awards luncheon held on June 2 in conjunction with the NUTN Annual Conference (NUTN 2003) in San Antonio, TX. Awards were also presented to individuals or organizations for Distinguished Service, Distance Education Innovation, Excellence in Teleconferencing and Best Research Paper. The Annual Awards program acknowledges the innovation and accomplishments of technology enhanced learning, highlighting individuals, educators and organizations who have achieved distinction in the field.
