LCI plays role in e-textbook - Jessica Alaimo, Summer Kent Stater
It will soon be possible to upload all of a student's textbooks into a single, two-paneled electronic device. It is called a "Sigmabook" and the technology for it was developed at the Liquid Crystal Institute, who then licensed it to Kent Displays in 1993 to further develop it.
