State launches online degree programs through network - Kris Schiffbauer , Herald-Standard
California University of Pennsylvania's master of science in exercise science and health promotion is the sixth master's degree program offered to students completely online from among the state's 14 universities. Last October, the State System of Higher Education, which oversees the universities, launched the cyber portal known as the Keystone University Network, which is delivering the master's degrees and other programs. Kim T. Coon, president of the Educational Resources Group, a division of the State System that is administrating the online university, said the State System's board of governors and Chancellor Judy G. Hample wanted to take "a very good look" at developing an online university that would be a collaboration of all of the individual universities.
