It is the dream of many individuals to return to school at some point in their life, whether to take courses of personal interest, to obtain or finish a degree left hanging by circumstances. With work schedules, family obligations and other responsibilities, however, fulfilling such a goal may seem impossible until far in the future. For just such individuals, distance learning courses have been developed in recent years. These college level classes, available on the Internet, videotape, DVD, correspondence or print-based studies, or live television, make fitting higher learning into the daily routine far easier.
