(U-WIRE) WASHINGTON -- Georgetown University has taken steps to halt plagiarism throughout the academic year with the implementation of new anti-cheating software from turnitin.com. The software was created in 1996 and is used globally, including all California State universities and many other institutions nationwide. The plagiarism prevention system identifies content taken from Internet sources, which enables a professor to distinguish quotes that may be cited incorrectly or not at all. ...
